FlexXray Expands with New State-of-the-Art Food & Product Inspections Facility in Aurora, Illinois

New facility featuring x-ray and metal detection inspection, shrink bundling and tap-toneoperational capacity expands FlexXray’s ability to deliver additional trusted inspectionservices across North America.

AURORA, IL. –– FlexXray announces the opening of a cutting-edge, FDA-registeredinspection facility located at 1998 Melissa Lane #140, Aurora, IL 60506. Demand forFlexXray’s unmatched services in the upper midwest region has rapidly increased andgrown beyond the capacity of FlexXray’s Elmhurst IL location which closed on May 18,2020 when this new Aurora facility opened.

This brand new 48,000 square-foot facility, optimized to provide the safest, fastest andmost accurate inspection services to food manufacturers across North America, willinclude x-ray inspection, metal detection, shrink bundling and tap-tone operation lines.

“Since last year when we expanded into Illinois, demand for our services has continuedto grow as food manufacturers throughout the US and Canada have realized a strongreturn on investment. We are delighted to further serve the industry by executing thisnext step in our growth plan. This new facility significantly increases our number oftemperature-controlled inspection lines, expands our workforce by creating jobs in theregion, and increases our overall inspection and storage capacity. This facility enablesus to immediately service our increased customer demand and positions us well toserve them in the future as the need for our services continues to grow,” said FlexXrayCEO, Randy Jesberg.

At full capacity, this new facility will run 24 hours a day with three shifts and will inspect10 or more truckloads of product each day. The facility’s expanded loading dock andwarehouse storage space enables customers to quickly and easily deliver loads forfuture inspection and have drivers wait while inspection is conducted across multipleinspection lines in FlexXray’s temperature-controlled inspection area.
